Cornerstone Bible Church .......
...."A Place You Can Call HOME!"
"Give Your Heart A Home" - Don Francisco
OUR PURPOSE.....WHY WE ARE HERE:
Cornerstone Bible Church is a "Church IN the Community Ministering TO the Community." It is our purpose to provide for the assembling together of New Testament believers for the study of the Word of God, prayer for the needs of others, reverent worship of God, service to Him and those in the Capitol Heights community by evangelizing our neighborhood with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the administration of the New Testament ordinances of the Lord's Supper and Baptism, and the promotion of the missionary endeavor both at home and around the world. We are committed to the support and strengthening of the family by providing a place of education, fellowship, and recreation for people of every age. In a day when the family unit is under attack and pressure from every element of contemporary society and culture, parents and children need a place where they can find the encouragement necessary to successful family life and love for one another. You will find that at Cornerstone Bible Church!
OUR PASTOR.....WHO HE IS:
Cornerstone is located in the historic Capitol Heights community. The church has been at its present location on the corner of North Madison Terrace and Upper Wetumpka Road since 1948. The original building has gone through numerous renovations and additions. With the construction of the Christian Family Center in 1985, which included a gymnasium, the church has a plant that provides for worship, education, fellowship, and recreation. The congregation is reflective of the community in which it ministers. Our doors are open to all who wish to find a church home where they can learn of Christ, gain in-depth and relevant instruction in the Word of God, and serve the Lord with the gifts He has given them. Most of all, it is a true "CHURCH FAMILY" that exhibits a genuine love for Christ, one another, and those who are searching for salvation in Christ alone.
